The Paradox of Wealth Creation

There is an interesting paradox to wealth. The more your focus and intention is on making a difference with passion; the wealthier your get. In contrast, the more your focus and intentions are on $$$. As I go through college campus, I hear so many people saying comments like "oh you can make good money" or "this pays really well". This means that their intention is to make a lot of money and this mentality will serve you well.

How to seldomly be disappointed in life

How to seldomly be disappointed in life: Simply accept that things may not come around exactly when you want them or even in the form of which you ask for them. Understand that when this happens, trust that it's for your best interest and something better is on its way. Yes-- I know this is nothing new. We all know this, its true but how many of us actually practice the act? Just like in anything you do; the more you practice the more you ingrain into your subconcious that this is what you want. Eventually the subconcious recognizes this act and you start to adopt a behavior, habit, belief naturally. Practice and Preparation. I'll say it again Practice and Preparation is key to training your subconcious.

My Thoughts on Failure

Effective failure is the act of becoming aware of where you went wrong so that you can correct yourself in the future. Failure is when you repeat the same mistakes which I have been guilty of many times myself.

When we think of the word fail, we usually get a sinking feeling. Am I right?
No one wants to be labeled a failure nor admit being a failure.

Now look, Im not saying anticipate failure.

I've learned that the best remedy is always to anticipate victory, to see yourself in the best light in whatever situation and to anticipate victory means to prepare thoroughly.

It's very difficult to anticipate victory without preparation.

That being said, because we are all imperfect beings - we still slip-up.
And when we do, we either become aware of where we went wrong, acknowledge and correct to improve or we don't.

Effectively failing at something means you're growing.
Failing at something means you're repeating a mistake over and over again.

See the difference? Anticipate victory but when you slip-up; acknowledge your mistake and then correct it for the future.

It's really helpful to keep a journal by your side so that you can actually capture everything on paper. It helps with your awareness of the mistake so that you can correct it right away and it also prevents you from dwelling
on a mistake excessively.

Let me know if this helps. - Gurmit

My Thoughts On Achievement

At a recent orientation with the Dale Carnegie Training organization, I learned some across crucial elements to achievement and they are Knowledge, Skill, Attitude.
Once you gain the clarity to know what you want, these elements can be a very useful guide to help you get there quickly by eliminating much of the guesswork out of achievement. Simply recognize what knowledge you are seeking on a macro and micro level. Then, determine what skills you will need to succeed. As you practice the skills and get better, they become permanent but before they do; there will be inevitable setbacks, disappointments along the way. Expect it but also embrace it. This is where attitude comes in- unwavering faith, commitment, boldness, courage, AND certainly PATIENCE. This is the process I took home with me recently. This is the process I wish to share with you. Finally, don't let results dictate your worth. The truth is that you are priceless. Accept the truth and charge forward knowing that the real secret to success was, is, and always be inside of you.

5 More Days UNTIL COMPLETION!!

Hey Everyone!

I have gotten so engrossed by the 40 day challenge and some other projects that I just haven't been typing as much.

But there's only 5 DAYS LEFT and I will be the first to tell you that it has been quite an experience!

I did not get it perfectly each day. There were some days where I was off by a meal but I always corrected myself to do better.

I've definitely seen an very noticeable improvement and am very happy with the results.
However, this is just the beginning!

Wishing you all a healthy and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Becoming A Person Who Is Capable Of Handling More...

I remember about three weeks ago when I had
started Ola's challenge and was struggling to lift
half of what I am capable of lifting today.

I've learned that many health enthusiasts that go to the gym focus on lifting a heavier weight
but quickly learn that they are not quite ready for handling that level of "stress."

When you are lifting weights, you are stressing your muscles. We actually create stress for our muscles but it's a rewarding kind of stress when you see your results.

Okay we just went off in a tangent there.

The point is that many people are not ready to lift heavier weights especially if you don't have the proper diet or nutrition to support your exercise.

So if you're trying to lift heavier weights without the foundation, you will either feel fatigue and give up or you will lose motivation and quit. I know
that's what I did in the past.

As a champion bodybuilder and health expert Dr. Ola B. Madsen has formulated a unique lifestyle that can helps us address these problems from occuring so that you can persist in reaching your goals.

I know this can help you if you're serious about
changing your health results because it sure has helped me.
